If food, wine, craft beers, and the beach are your idea of a celebration, come to Flager Beach this Saturday, April 14th for the 5th Annual Cheer at the Pier.

Hosted by the Flagler Beach Historical Museum, this year’s event brings the whole town together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Flager Beach Pier. From 2 to 5 PM, festival go-ers can sample foods from local restaurants and enjoy live music and fabulous ocean views from Flagler Beach’s iconic pier.
Some old favorites will return to present wine, beer, and food pairings of their signature dishes, and some new eateries will join the fun as well. Beach Front Grille, Break-Awayz, Island Grille, Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill, Tortugas, and Fun Coast Bartending will be on hand, as well as Blue Heron Beachfront Bistro, Funky Pelican, The Anchor, and Swillerbees Craft Donut & Coffee Bar.

Tie-dye Road brings their classic rock and blues to the Pier for an afternoon of live music, and Jim Lamb, The Tropical Drifter will take you away to Margaritaville for some easy listening. DJ Vern and Surf 97.3 will also be on hand to add to the afternoon’s musical offerings.
As you wind your way through the food and wine tables, don’t miss the Flager Beach Museum’s tent. Yours truly will there signing copies of Florida Wine Country Guide to Northern Wineriess. All book sales will benefit the Museum, so come out and sip some wine and buy a book.
Tickets are on sale now at the Museum located at 207 S. Central Avenue in Flagler Beach and on their website, or you can purchase at the door when you arrive. Advance ticket prices are $20 and tickets on the day are $30. Tickets price includes a chance to win a private wine tasting for up to 20 people presented by Total Wine & More.
