Travel north or south in Florida this weekend and you can partake in some fantastic food and wine at two major Florida wine events.
The 17th Annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival kicks off today and goes through Sunday with more than 90 culinary, beverage, and lifestyle events. Tagged as Eat, Drink and Educate, the festival offers a variety of wine tasting and dining experiences as well as food and wine seminars. Meet top chefs, winery owners, and television personalities who all have the same goal, great food and wine.
The Festival is also a fund raiser, with more than $26 million raised to date for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University.

Tonight, the 30A Wine Festival opens for the seventh year with a Wine Dinner with wine maker Ehren Jordan at Fonville Park. The four-course meal prepared by Alys Beach Executive Chef Drew Dzejak features select wine pairings from Jordan’s vineyards at Failla Wines.
Other events during the four-day festival include bourbon and barbeque tasting, wine tasting seminars, a grand tasting event, and a croquet tournament featuring rose’ wines and wooden mallets.
